A private pool — and a sauna most houses don't have
No shared resort pool, no time limits: the outdoor pool at Watonga Coastal Retreat is yours for the stay, set in a fully fenced backyard beside the covered entertaining area. Two large outdoor dining tables, an outdoor lounge and a Webber BBQ mean the adults are comfortable while the kids are in the water. Indoors, an indoor sauna is available too — a genuinely uncommon amenity for a private holiday house rather than a hotel spa.
Pool days, sauna nights — the honest fine print
The pool is not heated, so it's at its best through the warmer months. In the cooler ones, the indoor sauna picks up the slack — shower first, swimwear on, towel down, and it's all yours.

- No — the private outdoor pool is not heated, so it's at its best through the warmer months. Please supervise children around water at all times.
- Is there really a sauna?
- Yes — an indoor sauna is available for guest use, with simple guidelines: shower before entering, wear swimwear, sit on a towel, and keep food, glass and devices out.
- How many guests can stay?
- Up to 12 guests across 4 bedrooms and 6 beds: three queen bedrooms, a twin room with two singles, a double sofa bed in the upstairs living area (available for bookings of 9 or more guests), and a trundle with two singles in the office.
- Is linen provided?
- Yes. Linen and towels are provided, and all beds are made up fresh before you arrive — no lugging sheets on holiday.
